Switching to Sites & Stays
We do the move for you. Most properties are taking bookings in one to two weeks, and your part is about three to four hours, mostly two short calls.
How the move goes
Your current system keeps running the whole time. Nothing changes for your guests until you say go.
-
Day 1
A kickoff call
We go over your sites and cabins, rates and seasons, deposits and cancellation rules, add-ons, and how your desk runs day to day.
You and us, about 45 minutes
-
Day 1 to 2
You send your data
Export your guest list and reservations from your current booking system. Almost every system can save them to a spreadsheet, and we'll walk you through it if you're not sure how.
You, 15 to 30 minutes
-
Day 1 to 2
You connect payments
Open or connect your own Stripe account, or keep the card processor you have now through Authorize.net. Your money goes straight to you.
You, about 15 minutes
-
Days 2 to 5
We build your copy
Your name, logo and colors. Every site and unit, your rates, rules and add-ons, your guest emails and texts in your words. Then we bring over your guests and future reservations.

Week 1 to 2
You check it over
Click around your own copy with your real guests and bookings and compare it with your current system. Anything that looks off, we fix.

Week 1 to 2
We train your staff
The calendar, taking a booking, checking a guest in and taking a payment. Most desk staff are comfortable in one sitting.

Go-live day
You switch over
We bring across any bookings made since your first export and put the new booking button on your website. Keep your old system for a few weeks to look things up, then cancel it.

Good to know
What does switching cost?
Setup is free when you switch from another booking system. Your plan starts when you go live.
When is the best time to switch?
Your slow season, or midweek in the shoulder season. We'll pick a go-live day with you so it never lands on a busy weekend.
What about guest texting?
Phone carriers make every business register before it can text guests, which takes one to three weeks. We start it on day one, and everything else works while it's pending.
What if my data is messy?
It usually is, a little. We clean up duplicate guests and odd entries as we bring them over, and we'll ask you about anything we can't sort out on our own.
Do guests with existing bookings have to do anything?
No. Their reservations, deposits and balances come across, and they can look up their trip on your new booking page.
How long does a big park take?
A park with a few hundred sites, or years of history, can take three to four weeks. We'll give you a date at the kickoff call.
Ready to move?
Tell us what you use now and how many sites or units you have, and we'll set up a kickoff call.
